This policy explains what CoBuild collects, why, and your choices.

What we collect

• Account information: name, email, and a hashed password when you register.
• Workspace content: documents, tasks, canvas items, chat messages, and AI conversations you create.
• Session data: a session cookie keeps you signed in. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

How we use it

Account and workspace content is used solely to provide the service: authenticating you, storing your team's work, and delivering AI features. When you use AI features, the relevant content is sent to our AI provider to generate a response.

Where it's stored

Data is stored in managed cloud databases (Neon Postgres) and served from your workspace's hosting provider. Data may be transferred internationally as required by those providers.

Who can see your data

Members of your workspace can see everything in it. Service operators can access systems for support and maintenance. We do not sell your data.

Your choices

• You can delete any document, task, or message at any time.
• Delete your account by contacting the operator of this CoBuild instance — we'll remove your data.
• Turn off AI features to stop sending content to the AI provider.

AI notes

AI providers may retain prompts and outputs for safety or improvement, subject to their own policies. Don't put secrets or sensitive personal data into AI chats.

Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, sessions are signed cookies, and the database is not exposed publicly. Still, no service is 100% secure — please use strong passwords.
